The truth of who you are has always been inside you, yet it has remained out of reach.

If you have been a spiritual seeker for a long time, you already know that the answer to your question, "Why am I here?" lies within. The truth is that to get there, you must pay a heavy price, and that price is the death of your current identity.

The dominant Western, colonized version of spirituality teaches that you do not have to pay this price, but you do. There is no way to bypass this process if you truly want what you seek. You cannot simply pay money to avoid it. That is not how this works. No one, no matter how privileged, can bypass this process.

After death comes the resurrection associated with eternal life. It is eternal because you become oriented with your eternal soul and come to the realization that your soul does not die.

In most circumstances, you would not know who you are until after your mortal death or a near death experience (NDE). That is because, when you die, your soul is all that remains. If, however, you destroy your identity while alive, you do not have to wait until death to know who you are. The knowledge that comes after death is what we call spiritual awakening.

It is after spiritual awakening that you become clear about your life purpose, because you cannot know your purpose until you know who you truly are.

I came to this truth after dismantling my own identity over the course of four years through self-administered EMDR. It was not my intention, it happened by accident, but in the end, it was meant to be.
